Most things can be improved by doing them naked
Most things can be improved by doing them naked: a picnic, kitchen chores, hiking, going to the beach, relaxing at home, to name just a few. It's often more comfortable, more pleasurable and more practical; and yet, due to social convention, many people do not grant their bodies the freedom they so often cry out for. Instead, we live in dread; with scruples, embarrassment and shame, afraid of "what people might think" and countless other spurious reasons for trying not to listen to what our bodies are trying to tell us, and for being our true, plain selves.
It's a fact: putting aside taboos and social concerns for one moment (which is easy enough to say, but not as easy to do), many things are better done naked. The Greeks, for example, knew this, nudists know this, and even medical professionals would admit it if pressured to do so.
Participants in various sports benefit from wearing less, as any athlete will tell you, and nudity of course is the maximum expression of this.
Anyone who has experienced naked swimming favours it over the clothed variety. We, the Naked Explorers, can personally vouch for the advantages of naked hiking over its clothed cousin, and spending time on the beach without the hindrance of swimwear is objectively a far more sensible alternative if we put aside considerations of social convention.
All the opposition and barriers to naked living seem to originate from social convention and the standards of society. Social "norms" have been known to create tension, and have even led to psychological disorders in some cases, because of these restrictions on our personal liberty. So is it really that bad to upend convention?
Besides the personal comfort considerations, a huge benefit of naked living is the immensely positive effect it has on body awareness, self-esteem and body confidence.
People who live naked and live with nudity are acutely aware of the reality of the human body in all its diverse shapes and sizes, and that includes their own. They know bodies seen on film, in advertising and in the media are often totally unrealistic, and body image issues have been resolved by just spending some time naked and in the naked company of real people. This alone should be reason enough to start doing things naked.
We hear over and over again how people indulging in a naked activity for the first time have testified to how positive the experience was for them, and it only gets better.
Naked living does not necessarily have to start off as a social activity. People can be naked at home; doing the housework, working, gardening or just hanging around, and they will soon understand for themselves how positive the experience is – for convenience, comfort, practicality, self-esteem, body positivity – all the reasons mentioned previously. The social aspect can be introduced in everyone's own time, only if or when it feels right, although this might be sooner rather than later!
Once we start doing things naked, it becomes easier and easier to "take it to the next level", and we find ourselves doing more and more things naked, deriving more joy and a more intense feeling of satisfaction.
Many of us have already abandoned social convention and have chosen the naked lifestyle in order to embrace all the advantages it had to offer. Unfortunately, we still exercise our freedom in a semi-covert fashion, but hopefully, bit by bit, this will change for the better, as nudity becomes more commonplace and more accepted by society.
As this continues to happen, more people will embrace naked living because they too have discovered that most things can be improved by doing them naked.
