Cabo de Gata Natural Park is a spectacular region of dormant volcanoes, fossilised coral reefs, golden dunes, and dry ramblas (riverbeds) — a paradise for walkers and nature lovers.

With very little rainfall, high average daytime temperatures the some of the most hours of sunshine per day in Europe, Almería is a wonderful place to explore this unique corner of Andalusia.

Recognised as a UNESCO Global Geopark since 2015, Cabo de Gata–Níjar is home to an extraordinary range of flora and fauna that thrive in its semi-arid environment.
