Black and White Gallery II: In Nature
We've mentioned it before—recording the moments in photographs (and other art forms) is a highly pleasurable aspect of naked living. The naked body has been an important subject of art for centuries, existing in drawing and painting, architecture, sculpture, literature and more recently film, both photography and cinema.
Because it's more deliberate, more studied and more focussed, artistic photography, especially portraiture, feels far more intimate than the more journalistic-style photos we post of our walks, or at the beach, although there is a certain amount of crossover between the two.
Black and white also somehow adds more intimacy, and the series of images we have posted here feels very personal. We feel as though we are opening up our hearts to the outside world, but this is something that fits in perfectly with our philosophy of naked living, which is built on openness, honesty and sincerity.
We don't make any claims to being artists, but we are delighted to continue the great artistic tradition of the Nude in our own, small way. We hope you enjoy the results.
